Notes:

The lydian mode appears in a handful of Dead songs, including Cassidy, Saint of Circumstance, and Picasso Moon. It’s a great sound, a bit different than many of us are accustomed to. Try superimposing the sound of a G or Em chord over this F to really bring out the lydian sound.
